Remember how we told you about Vivo’s matte black IPL edition of its popular V5 Plus smartphone that was launched on 4th April?

Now, the company has made an update regarding the same and has let out the price tag that the new, limited edition phone would tag along. It is just the same as the V5 Plus (launched in January this year), except for the color difference and a pre-installed IPL theme to go with it.

Also, it has an 18-carat logo of the world’s most popular cricketing league engraved on the back and promises to offer a personalized experience to the cricket fanatics in the country.

For its online sale, Vivo is working in tandem with E-commerce giant Flipkart, whereas as far as the offline sector of the market is concerned, it will be available in Vivo exclusive (and other retail ones, too) stores across India.

Just to keep you in the loop, the V5 Plus is the first smartphone from the company’s roster to featuring a dual camera setup (20MP and 8MP) on the front and has a 16MP propped behind that also has LED flash support.

Furthermore, it comes with 5.5-inch full HD display in tow and has an octa-core 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 powering it, which has been mated to a 4GB RAM.

The ROM available in 64GB, while the power unit reads 3,160mAh (coming in with fast charging capabilities as well).

As opposed to the launch price of the original one (Rs. 27,980), the price of the IPL version of the phone is a bit lower, which is Rs. 25,990. The original white color variant too is now available for about 25K.

All said and done, it does look quite stunning in black, doesn’t it?
