Force Motors the popular car manufacturer in India has officially started taking pre-bookings for the 2024 Force Gurka 4X4 SUV at the counter after a long wait of 4 years. The company has made some of the significant changes to the 3-door and 5-door variety in terms of design and powertrain. 2024 Force Gurka Pre-Booking Details
According to the official website, interested consumers can now pre-book the SUVs just for Rs 25,000. So far Force Motors has kept quiet about the pricing of the cars, but it has been anticipated that the 2024 Gurka 3-door and 5-door variants might start with Rs 17 Lakhs and 20 Lakhs onwards (ex-showroom). However, there is no certainty about the pricing so it’s better to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for launch which is slated for early May 2024.
2024 Force Gurka Design
Though the company has yet to reveal the pricing of the car, the official website has revealed the design and features of the forthcoming SUVs. Design-wise the 2024 Force Gurka model arrives with impressive changes and at first glance you might confuse it with the Mercedes G-Wagen. Both the models of Gurka seem to enter the Indian market with gigantic 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels along with electronically adjustable rear view mirrors for both sides. Furthermore, the car also comes with accessories like a tailgate ladder, windshield brace, and rugged roof rack.
While talking about the interiors it’s worth acknowledging that the company has made some noticeable changes. The seats are wrapped in dual-tone colours and the dashboard gets an impressive 9-inch touchscreen display for infotainment alongside the 7-inch instrument cluster. Other than that the 2024 Force Gurka also gets multiple USB ports, armrests and newly designed cup holders. Just to recall, the 3-door model is a 4-seater and the 5-door variant is a 7-seater.
2024 Force Gurka Engine and Power
The upcoming variants of 2024 Force Gurka are confirmed to be powered by an upgraded 2.6-litre diesel engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of 138bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The company has made some significant changes to the engine because the predecessor is available in the Indian market with 90bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Besides, it gets a 5-speed manual transmission with 4×4 system. Force Motors has also switched the manual 4×4 shifter with an electronic dial which makes it more convenient for the driver to operate.
Competition
The upcoming 2024 Force Gurka is going to be a direct competition for the Mahindra Thar 3-door and the upcoming Thar 5-door. Besides, Maruti Suzuki Jimny mild also faces some competition from the 3-door and 5-door variants of the 2024 Force Gurka.
