Bombay Shaving Company has emerged as one of the best brands in the men’s grooming segment. Recently I got my hands on the PE2025/BL bear trimmer by the brands. I have to say that the price point of the trimmer amazed me as it is highly cost-efficient.

Not only this but the trimmer has some decent features that make it worthy of competing against alternatives from different brands like Syska, Beardo, Phillips, etc.

I got the chance to review the trimmer in every aspect recently and I must say that it has decent ergonomics and is comfortable to hold. here in our review of the Bombay Shaving Company beard trimmer, we will talk about the pros and cons of the device and how effective it is in the long run.

Bombay Shaving Company beard trimmer review: Design

Starting with the design of the trimmer, it has a basic arc-shaped structure which makes it easy to hold for trimming sessions. It has a charging indicator at the front that shows you the battery levels as soon as you turn it on. The switch to turn the trimmer on is available at the front and it has a smooth working The blade of the trimmer is irremovable and is added to the trimmer with screws.

The metallic front frame of the trimmer offers a premium look when doubled up with the blue frame at the back. The charging point of the trimmer is placed at the bottom. Now. a charging stand could have been a better thing instead of suspending the trimmer by the charging wire. However, considering the pricing point of the machine, everything seems fair.

Bombay Shaving Company beard trimmer review: Experience

Here comes the most important part in which I’ll talk about my experience with this product. I used the trimmer to set my beard and firstly I used the 6mm attachment. The trim was perfect no doubt and after that, I removed the attachment to experience the bare blades. Unlike my other trimmer, which is from Syska, the blades of this one induced a pain kind of which was uncomfortable for me.

Now, this happened because the blades don’t have a decent finishing according to me. However, this worked as a major turn-off for me as I was supposed to be more careful while trimming. In my experience of two weeks, I also saw a few rust stains on the trimmer which seriously quashes all the claims of the company which has mentioned that the device is made of stainless steel. Apart from that, the experience was overall satisfactory in terms of performance.

Now no one wants to use a trimmer that can spoil the in mid of a beard trimming session. Well, this piece by Bombay Shaving Company will never disappoint you in that. The trimmer once charged completely offers a backup of around 90 minutes. The trimmer took around 2 hours and a few minutes to get completely charged at the time of testing. It packs a 600mAh battery that cannot be questioned in terms of durability.

Bombay Shaving Company beard trimmer review: Should you buy it or not?

On a concluding note, I would like to say that if you are looking for a trimmer that is budget friendly and can offer a decent experience then you can go for this product by the Bombay Shaving Company. However, if you want a long-lasting product and a trimmer with real stainless steel then you should most probably ditch this one, increase your budget a little bit more, and go for a better option.
