Another excerpt from BlackBerry signature software, BlackBerry Hub+, is now available on Google Playstore. The Hub+ is actually more than the popular unified inbox for mail, messaging and social media apps (or BB Hub). You also get access to BlackBerry Calendar and Password Manager.

The BlackBerry Hub+ is available for Android Marshmallow + running handsets and is free for the first 30 days. After the free trial period is over, you can either opt for a $0.99 monthly subscription or choose to live with ads.

According to BlackBerry, you will also get some added bonus features with the Hub+ monthly subscription. These include launcher, tasks, device search, and contacts.

If you have been a long time BlackBerry loyalist who is now stuck with Android for the dearth of decent BlackBerry alternatives, the Hub+ is precisely what you need. A truly combined message center is certainly something we all could use.

Indeed, the BlackBerry Hub+ seems like one of those compelling apps that warrant a shot. For now, it remains to be seen whether it will succeed or will just be another flash in the pan. You can head to the Google Playstore and download it for free, i.e. if you have a Marshmallow device (and that narrows it down to about 15 percent of Android users).
