Lenovo had ditched Flash sale model for K4 Note (Full Review | FAQ) in India and the handset will now be readily available on Flipkart starting 15th February 2015. Furthermore, Lenovo has also added a White color variant of its ‘Killer Note’ to the mix.

The K4 Note arrived a good 2 weeks ahead of rivals like Le 1s and Honor 5X and cashed in on that advantage to retail 1,80,000 units in first three weeks. If you are an aspiring customer and for some reason you haven’t managed to place an order yet, you can do it next week at you own convenience.

The handset has a lot to like. There is a full HD display, powerful dual frontal speakers, reasonably good camera hardware and elegant design to look forward to. TheaterMax is another slick arrow in K4 Note’s quiver which is more than a gimmick and add to multimedia experience the handset promises.

As we noted in our review, the mediocre hardware bogs it down and makes it unfit for users interested in high end gaming.

Not to say that they were palatable in the first place, but Flash sales have gradually become more and more tiresome, especially since there are so many of them. The concept doesn’t make much sense anymore and thus more and more OEMs are sticking to open sales model these days.
