ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 Gets Face Unlock; Runs Out of Stock In First Sale

A couple of weeks back Asus launched ZenFone Max Pro M1 (review) in India and today it went on sale on Flipkart. As expected, the stocks ran dry in no time.

At the time of launch, Asus promised that it will add face unlock feature at and yesterday we received a 125MB FOTA update that added Face Unlock and delivered other fixes for the camera, fingerprint sensor, and overall stability.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is first near stock android phone from Asus and it is seen as true Redmi Note 5 Pro challenger.  

In initial few sales Asus will only be offering the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 which are priced at Rs 10,999, and Rs 12,999, respectively. Currently, the phone is only offered in Deep Sea Black and Grey colors. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is also the first smartphone offered with Flipkart’s new “Complete Mobile Protection” which comes with an introductory price of just Rs. 49 (otherwise priced at Rs. 999).

To refresh your memory, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 is equipped with a 5.99-inch full HD+ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone rocks on a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform which comes with eight custom Kyro 260 cores. In optics, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 packs a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual-camera setup at the rear and an 8-megapixel snapper at the front with soft LED flash. The smartphone draws juice from a massive 5,000mAh battery. It comes out of the box running on stock Android 8.1 Oreo with minimum modifications.

At the launch event, Asus also announced a 6GB RAM variant which will come with upgraded cameras (16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, and a 16MP selfie shooter) and 64GB storage.

are people really buying these many smart phones are the supplier is selling 100 or 1000 pieces?? If they are not capable of handling the demand i really doubt about after sale support. I did not expect this kind of poor supply from ASUS or it mike be a hipe trick, which wastes our time.
