Asus India announced three new laptops, of which two are ultrabooks and the third one is a convertible. The ZenBook 14 (review) and 15 are compact and light, true to the ultrabook definition. They sport a NanoEdge display with ultra-slim bezels. Their main differentiator is – ScreenPad, a touchpad which acts as a secondary display as well. The Flip 13, on the other hand, is a 2-in-1 convertible with a 360-degree hinge that lets you flip the display behind the keyboard.

ZenBook 14 (UX434) and Asus ZenBook 15 (UX534)

Like their names, their primary difference is in the size of the displays. The nearly bezel-less screen offers a 92% scree-to-body ratio in both the laptops. Up top, you have an IR-based webcam. Asus has engineered an ErgoLift hinge that props up the bottom half, leaving space for the speaker audio, heat dissipation from the bottom vents and gives a comfortable typing angle.

For example, whilst gaming, you can browse Youtube, shuffle through Spotify playlists, in this ScreenPad. This opens up new possibilities for multi-tasking.

As for core specs, it packs Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. This is coupled with up to 1TB PCIe SSDs and up to 16GB of RAM. ZenBook 14 and 15 draw from a 50Wh and 71Wh batteries respectively. The USB peripherals comprise of the usuals save for Thunderport 3.0.

ZenBook Flip 13 (UX362)

Similar to the Zenbook ultrabooks, the Flip 13 also flaunts a NanoEdge touch screen panel that delivers a 90% screen to body ratio. It runs on the 8th Generation Intel Core™ i7 quad-core CPU, teamed with 8GB RAM, and PCIe SSDs. The spec sheet also lists gigabit-class Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 50Wh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery.
