Asus launched two laptops – VivoBook S15 and ZenBook UX430, in India. The VivoBook S15 flaunts a ‘Nano Edge’ display with thin 7.8mm bezels. On the other hand, the ZenBook UX430 is the thinnest ever Asus laptop to land in India and comes with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics chipset. Asus VivoBook S15 Specification and Features

The VivoBook S15 sports a 15.6-inch laptop with Full HD(1080X1920 pixels) display with a 178-degree wide-view feature. The display is surrounded by visibly thin bezels, allowing the screen to dominate in the lid with 83 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, the Asus VivoBook S1 is powered by 8th Generation quad-core Intel Core i7-8550U and i5-8250U processor coupled with 16GB DDR4 memory clocked at 2133Hz and dual 1TB (HDD) +128GB (SSD) for storing all your files, media, and applications. The company says the dual-hard drive technology has been put in place to reduce boot up and app load time.

Other features of the laptop include USB Type-C port with USB 3.1 generation reverse compatibility, one USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac for connectivity. The laptop also houses backlit keyboard and a Lithium polymer battery that is rated to deliver 8 hours of battery life. The laptop also supports a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication with Windows Hello onboard.

Asus ZenBook UX430 Features and specifications

The second offering by Asus, the ZenBook UX430, offers almost similar offering as to the VivoBook S15. The noticeable changes on Asus ZenBook UX430 are its 14-inch Full HD (1080p) display with Nano-Edge bezel and an Intel 8th Generation Core i7 processor, which is backed by 16GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 2133MHz and 512GB of internal storage. It draws its juice from the battery that is supposed to deliver 9-hours of battery life. On the graphics front, it features NVIDIA GeForce MX150.

Asus VivoBook S15 and ZenBook UX430 Price and Availability

The VivoBook S15 has been priced in India at Rs 59,990, whereas the ZenBook UX430 will be available for sale for Rs 74,990. You can purchase the both laptops via offline and online retailers from October 1.
