Asus VivoBook 14 X403, X409 and VivoBook 15 X509 launched in India

Asus broadens its laptop lineup in India with the new VivoBook 14 X403, X409, and VivoBook 15 X509. They are targeted at an affordable, all-rounder market. The laptops come in multiple configurations. For instance, the high-end X509 edition comes in carrying up to 8th-gen Intel i7 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, all of which packed in a MIL-STD-810G military-grade build. As you’d expect, all the three ships with Windows 10 Home out of the box.

Asus VivoBook 14 X403 highlights

This one has a 14-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) panel with 16:9 aspect ratio, 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. Thanks to an ultra-thin 4.1mm bezels, the laptop gives an immersive visual experience.

Under the hood, VivoBook 14 X403 runs on the 8th generation Intel Core i5-8265U processor roomed with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 512GB PCIe Gen3x2 SSD storage, and an integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics.

The peripherals comprise of a host of ports such as 1xUSB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C, 1xUSB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, 1xUSB 2.0 Type-A, 1x Audio Combo Jack, 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x SD card reader, 1x DC jack. There is a dual stereo speaker, powered by SonicMaster technology and Array microphone.

It draws fuel from a 4-cell lithium-polymer battery that claims 72Wh life or a whole day. The VivoBook 14 X403 flaunts a Silver Blue color and weighs around 1.3kg in size.

Asus VivoBook 14 X409 highlights

With VivoBook 14 X409, you get an additional Intel i3-7020U processor option, a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX230, up to 1TB 2.5 HDD storage option, and a VGA camera. Although it packs a smaller 2-cell battery (claiming a 32Whrs life), the weight is on the heftier side (around 1.6kg).

It is available in Transparent Silver and Slate Grey colors. Rest of its components remain the same as the X403 model.

Asus VivoBook 15 X509 highlights

Lastly, we have the high-end model of the lot with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit FHD display that brags an 82-percent screen-to-body ratio.

Compared to the VivoBook 14 X409, this one differs only in terms of the aforementioned display, slightly larger footprint, and weight.

It is also available in the same Transparent Silver and Slate Grey colors as the X409 variant.

  • VivoBook X403 is priced at Rs. 54,990 for the base model and available via Amazon and offline channel.

  • Finally, the X509 begins from a price tag of Rs, 30,990, also available from the same outlets.
