Asus ROG Phone 2 gets Android 10 update

Asus ROG Phone 2 users have been asking about the Android 10 update on social media and forums for a while, and now have there wish answered. The Taiwanese smartphone and PC maker has commenced Android 10 update roll out on its ROG Phone 2. While some of the Android 10 marquee features were already available on ROG Phone 2, the new update will bring better integration of Dark theme, gesture navigation, and privacy controls.

Asus previously announced that it is beta testing Android 10 update on its popular ROG Phone 2. Now that most of the bugs are fixed, the company has commenced rolling out a stable version to customers.

Asus ROG Phone 2 specifications

If you recall, Asus launched the ROG Phone 2 back in July 2019 globally. The ROG Phone 2 is a gaming phone driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform. The phone feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ screen and 120Hz refresh rate.

As for the optics, the ROG Phone 2 packs a dual-camera setup. There’s a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Upfront, it features a 24-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with up to 30W fast charging support. As for Connectivity, the ROG Phone 2 supports 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, and has a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.
