Asus Launches ZenWatch 2 Android Wear for Rs. 11,999

Asus launched the ZenWatch 2 Android wear smartwatch in India on Tuesday. The new watch comes in two sizes and is exclusively available on Flipkart. This Zenwatch 2 is available in two sizes: 1.45-inch (WI502Q) and 1.63-inch (WI501Q) priced Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 14,999 respectively. At a later date, Asus also aims to sell these watches through its own Exclusive Stores.

The ZenWatch 2 runs Andriod Wear with Asus Zen UI running on top of it, which offers some handy software features. For instance, time-piece that help users to find his phone and control several setting directly from the watch.

ZenWatch2_Silver-with-leather-KhakiZenWatch 2 WI501Q model, sports a 1.63-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 320 and 278 ppi pixel density. On the other hand, the Asus ZenWatch 2 WI502Q comes features a 1.45-inch display with a screen resolution of 280 x 280 pixels which accounts 273ppi pixels in each inch. Both the variants are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset coupled with 512MB RAM. ZenWatch 2 has onboard 4GB eMMC storage and supports wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.1 as the connectivity option. The 400mAh battery is good for a day of normal use.
