Asus has today shared official timeline for Marshmallow update on Zenfone models launched in India last year. The update will arrive in March, i.e next month for selected devices.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow includes several refinements over Android 5.1 Lollipop and is every bit worth being excited about, even though most of it won’t be available at user end because of thick ZenUI skin on top. New features include granular control on App permissions, new share menu, Google Now on tap, App links, new RAM manager and more.

As expected, the Marshmallow rollout has been slow so far, but with a slew of phones introduced at MWC, Marshmallow adoption is set to gain momentum sooner rather than later.

- ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML, ZE551ML)
- ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML)
- ZenFone 2 Laser ( ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE601KL)
- ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL)
- ZenFone Max (ZC550KL)
