Amazon Prime Video Brings Japanese Anime & J-Dramas to India

Amazon Prime Video has announced its partnership with KC Global Media which will bring Animax and Gem content to the OTT platform. It means for an all-inclusive subscription of INR 299/year, you get to witness epic anime like Haikyu!!, Sabikui Bisco, My Senpai is Annoying, and many more. 

The Anime content comes as an add-on subscription that you can get apart from your existing plan giving you unrivaled access to Japanese shows (or J-dramas) with English subtitles and more. 

KC Global Media is an Asian Entertainment company that owns properties such as AXN, Gem, and Animax among others. The collaboration with Amazon Prime Video comes after the rapid increase in strong followership of Japanese pop culture in the country. The collaboration will give Anime fans access to Japanese content anytime and anywhere. The success of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – tTo The Swordsmith Village and Suzume in their theatrical releases added to the decision to partner with India’s leading OTT platform. 

Gem content unlocks Japanese dramas and other shows for Indian fans. It includes the titles like Outsider Cops, Nice Flight!, and 10 Count to the Future among others. You can check out the entire list of shows that will be available on Prime Video.
