While the industry is prepping up for the annual MWC gala, the alleged Asus Zenfone 6 images have surfaced on the internet. Is Asus planning to launch the Zenfone 6 at MWC 2018? It’s hard to say at this moment as the company yet to roll out official media invites. Having said that, last year Asus did attend MWC where it showcased its Zenfone 5 series.

What Alleged Zenfone 6 Image Tells Us?

One thing that is clearly shown in the leaked render, something that we never witnessed on an Asus branded smartphone, is the triple rear cameras. The arrangement is similar to what you get on Huawei P20 Pro – the design part, that is.

There’s one more similarity with Huawei phones- the gradient back. Out of the two alleged Zenfone 6 images that have crept up on the internet, one has a red and purple gradient finish, while the other one seems similar to the ZenFone Max Pro M2.

Thick bezels also show up in the new image on the phone’s box, and that chin is frankly a bit disturbing. As for specifications, we haven’t run into anything specific just yet. If this leak is anything to go by, the Zenfone 6 could be a mid-range device with possible Snapdragon 675 or Snapdragon 710/712 SoC.
