Intex Technologies have announced their sub-budget smartphone entrant into the market named Intex Cloud Fame at a price of only 3,999 INR. Featuring a 4.5-inch low resolution FWVGA display (480 x 854), the phone (on paper) seems to be offering good performance as it is powered by 1Ghz Quad-core Mediatek SoC(details unspecified) with 1GB RAM, which is very conventional in this price bracket.

Intex Cloud Fame which shall be available for sale exclusively through snapdeal and sports 8GB ROM (storage capacity), which is expandable up to 32GB through a microSD slot. This 4G enabled device draws power from an 1800mAh battery which might be just right given the smaller display and lower resolution. Another advantage of this pocket friendly device is that it comes with Android Marshmallow (v6.0) out-of-the-box.
