Today, Acer has introduced a brand new laptop in India packing the AMD’s Ryzen 5-4500U processor. The machine is an Acer Swift 3 with a 14-inch display. Internally, it comes with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 1TB PCIe Gen-3 NVMe SSD, and a built-in 7nm Radeon GPU.
But, the real pitch is that this is India’s first-ever laptop running on the AMD Ryzen 4000 series. Lately, AMD has been killing it in the battle of computer processors and is giving Intel a tough run for its money. Regardless, let’s see what this one has to offer.

Acer Swift 3 (AMD Ryzen 4500U) Specs
As already mentioned, the new Swift 3 sports a 14-inch Full HD LCD screen with slim bezels. Thus it manages an 82.73% screen to body ratio. Upfront, you have a 720p webcam and a fingerprint reader.
Inside, you have a Ryzen 5 4500U processor coupled with a 7nm Radeon GPU for graphic rendering. It is available in up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen-3 NVMe SSD storage.
You also get Windows 10 bundled with Microsoft Office 2019 Home/Student edition.
In terms of connectivity, there is a USB type C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0 port each, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the wireless side of things, you’ve got Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

A 3-cell 48-WH Li-iON battery drives the lappy for a marketed runtime of up to 12 hours. This Swift 3 model weighs about 1.2 kgs.

Acer Swift 3 SF314-42 is priced at MSRP of Rs. 64,300. However, after launch offers up to ₹15,999, it is up for grabs at Rs. 59,900 official Acer store.
