Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 will reportedly feature a quad-core CPU based on aged ARM Cortex-A7 architecture, the Adreno 304 GPU, and will be based on 28nm-manufacturing process. Most of it is in similar to Snapdragon Wear 2100, but the new chipset will benefit from a new power management circuit, called the “Blackghost”.

The Blackghost will run continuously on your smartwatch and wearable and allow them to respond to voice commands without waking the device.

The entire information is based on leaks so it should be consumed with a grain of salt. The idea of Google demonstrating what a modern smartwatch can accomplish is thoroughly exciting.
