Samsung Galaxy S series flagships are one of the most anticipated smartphones every year but after the unfortunate Samsung Note 7 debacle, the Korean conglomerate has a lot at stake with Galaxy S8.

As per current rumors, the Galaxy S8 could make its debut with 4K display powered by the latest Exynos chipset/ Snapdragon 835 (depending on the regions). Reports suggest there wouldn’t be a fingerprint sensor clubbed with the home key this time.  We are also hearing that the Samsung S8 will come with an improved AF selfie camera. It will be interesting whether Samsung introduces the dual-camera system in next gen. S-series phone or not.

Dubbed as the Chinese Apple -Xiaomi is said to be gearing up for a Valentine day launch of Xiaomi Mi6. The smartphone manufacturer may introduce three variants of the phone: the Mi 6S, Mi 6P and Mi 6E where S stands for Qualcomm Snapdragon, P for MediaTek Helio P and E for Samsung for Exynos.

Some reports suggest the 6P variant will be powered by  Xiaomi’s own Pinecone SoC while The Mi 6S will boast Snapdragon 835 chipset, and possibly become the first smartphone to do so.

Xiaomi Mi 6 might flaunt a 2.5D curved display and a metal-glass construction. The Mi 6 is also expected to come with Quick Charge 4.0 and will be running Android 7.0 Nougat garnished with MIUI8.

LG has a reputation for being an innovative smartphone manufacturer. It’s bold LG G5, however, was more of a modular misfire. In 2016, LG is rumored to launch G6 which will resort back to key LG strengths.

The return of Nokia is great. Apple is just increasing the damn price tag and isn’t offering anything out of the world. I still prefer iPhone 6s over 7 series. HTC and obviously Moto and LG stay on the eagerly being awaited list of Android phones. I guess Samsung is a pain tbh!
