Pathetic LG service.
I had puchased a LG Air Conditioner model no JS- Q18FUXD1 through Flipkart on 03/05/2018. Yesterday a techinician named Atiq Ahmed came to install it. While installing the indoor unit he did not incline it to 2-3 degree, which was clearly mentioned on the 'Quick Reference guide'. Upon requesting him for several times he insists that the inclination is not necessary, and he has been installing in this manner for past 3 years. Moreover there is a half inch gap in the unit from the wall where it has been mounted. Again, when i requested him several times to minimize the gap between the wall and the unit, he clearly mentiones that he cannot do it and the unit will break. While extending the copper pipes, a welding was done to meet the desired distance from indoor to outdoor unit. He did not even perform the soap test to ensure that there was no leakage of gas. No ampere test neither water leakage test was done. Not even a demonstration of the product was shown. The technician was in a hurry just to wrap up his task. Is this what i was charged for to pay Rs 499/- as a service charge? Life's really not good with LG product.
