Besides the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Chinese manufacturer also announced Mi 4s at the China launch event, which is an evolution of Mi 4 rather than being a trimmed down variant of Mi 5. The Mi 4s is the franchisee of Xiaomi’s blockbuster phone Mi 4. This new phone flaunts a new metal chassis with glass panels fixed on both sides of the smartphone, which is something similar to what we have witnessed in Samsung updated A Series 2016 devices. In the specs corner, Xiaomi Mi4s makes an impact on the very first glance. At the core of Mi 4s rests a Snapdragon 808 and 3Gigs of RAM. To conquer the gaming battles Xiaomi has used Adreno 418 GPU in this ticking at 600MHz which is almost identical to Lenovo Vibe X3 and LG G4. It houses 5-inch Full HD IPS display with 441 ppi which runs on the juice drawn from its hefty 3,260mAh non-removable battery. Like most modern day smartphones, Xiaomi has roped in an army of sensors which includes Accelerometer, Compass, IR sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and rear mounted Fingerprint sensor on the list. The phone runs on MIUI 7 which is based on latest version of Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with 64GB of internal storage which can be jumped up to 128 via microSD card. For all those users who have a special interest on optics, Mi 4s comes equipped with 13-megapixel autofocus primary snapper and 5-megapixel secondary snapper at the front. On the connectivity front, the Mi4s supports dual SIM, Dual-4G LTE standby, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Xiaomi will be shipping this phone in Gold, White & Black color options. Xiaomi will start taking orders and delivery process on March1 in its homeland China. There is no official statement on Xiaomi Mi 4s availability in India.
