Sony Ericsson txt pro preview: First look

The Sony Ericsson txt pro is aimed at the young crowd and its features cater to their needs. The hardware QWERTY will be put to good use, kids these days like to text and email a lot.

The Friends app is a great way to keep in touch with some of your friends by keeping an eye on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, but the SNS integration beyond that is nothing to write home about. We hope Sony Ericsson pre-installs the Facebook app when it launches the txt pro. read more →

For a feature phone like the Sony Ericsson txt pro , call quality is of paramount importance. But the handset has taken a shortcut here, as the microphone seems to be on the cheap side judging by its terrible audio quality. Our callers reported hearing us very unnaturally, with plenty of digital noise interfering with our conversations. The earpiece of the txt pro produces loud and clear sound, but overall the call quality of the phone disappoints. read more →
