OnePlus X First impression, Review and Specifications

OnePlus X is finally official. The handset boasts of a compact design and with Snapdragon 801 on board, it sure feels like a blast from past, but in our opinion it packs enough to hold its ground. There is near stock experience, full HD Amoled display and decent camera hardware to look forward to, though we heartily wish its price were a bit lesser.

Lowest price of OnePlus X in India is 16,999. It will be available on Amazon.in if you have an invite, and from next month onwards, there will be an open sale every week where you can buy OnePlux X online without waiting in the queue. read more →

  • Competitive price
  • Full HD Amoled Display
  • Good Camera Performance
  • Compact design
  • Invite system for purchase

OnePlus X review

Sure, the OnePlus X is no flagship killer, but it has the killer looks and price, which is more than enough to sell. OnePlus did more though - they provided the X with buttery-smooth performance and powerful imaging skills. And we have to admit everything worked out for the best.

Our only concern is for the lack of 64-bit hardware, but while the technology isn't new on the market and is already wide-spread, it is yet to make the real difference it was designed for. read more →

OnePlus X review

The OnePlus X does nothing to change the company’s atrocious invite-only business model, though it is a pretty good deal. The phone features similar hardware to what you would find in last year's top-tier phones, a 1080p AMOLED display, and dual SIM slots in a sleek little package. But it’s ultimately not worth sitting around on a waiting list to buy one. read more →

  • Better-than-average battery life will get you through the day
  • Dual-SIM slots for world travelers
  • It doesn't look like a cheap phone
  • Camera performance is good, but inconsistent
  • Supports limited number of LTE bands

OnePlus X

The unlocked OnePlus X is a premium Android phone for an affordable price, but missing North American LTE bands and a frustrating invite-only setup makes it hard to recommend for users. read more →

  • Affordable.
  • Premium build.
  • Nice display.
  • Sharp camera.
  • Bloatware-free.
  • Frustrating invite-only purchase system.
  • Aging processor.

OnePlus X review

OnePlus have just done it for a third time and created a good phone for those on a budget. It doesn't have as many fancy features as the OnePlus 2, but for the price it's an impressive set up. read more →

  • Super low price
  • Attractive design
  • Bright display
  • No NFC or fast charging
  • Poor performance

One of the best in market.

The phone is undoubtedly the sexiest looking phone. It's all metal body feels awesome in hands. Though it ia not that good on paper as compared to tge recently launched phone but i guarantee you this has the best user performance of them all. Very smooth interface.  Awesome screen 441ppi (only 2-3 phones in market have more than this) Very good camera. Nice sound quality.
The only drawback is it's battery. It's pretty small for hardcore users.

  • Build quality and looks.
  • Screen resolution and pixel density (441ppi)
  • Smooth Interface.
  • Good Camera.
  • Battery (2550mAh) is not that good.

User Since 4 Months. Worth it.

Awesome phone. People giving out bad reviews only because the phone was launched last year and new phones have better combinations

  • Rear and Front. Dope. Low light not upto the mark
  • Battery consumption after hardcore gaming. (Oneplus promises to update the issue in Marshmallow)

Good in budget, well designed.

Oneplus x is good in budget and well designed phone. Overall good on paper. But software department is not good. Oxygen has bugs like autorotation, default launcher stop working. Oneplus really need to improve its software, and it's 19th July still marshmallow update is under development.

  • Well designed
  • Amoled display is great
  • Good performance
  • Clean design
  • No fingerprint sensor
  • Still marshmallow update is missing
  • No NFC
  • Too poor customer service
  • Software performance is not good

Decent phone but could have been better

I've owned this phone for 6 months now and wasn't gonna buy a new one until this one got broken pretty bad. It's a good phone at this price and offers all the features one needs in everyday life. It's fragile to use but that is the only thing which adds the zeak to its design. Idk if there is a problem with my set but the performance wasn't the same as it boasts on the paper. Overall the phone is good to go but if you are willing to spend a few more bucks, go for some other option.

  • Inquisitive design
  • Light weight
  • Great camera quality
  • Beautiful display
  • Thoughtful placement of notification slider
  • Overheats
  • Low battery life
  • Lacks quick charging
  • The phone does lag at times with an occasional restart
  • The shelf doesn't work and it's an issue with many sets.
  • The looks are impressive but also make it vulnerable (glass)
