Astounding Value For Money - Flagship Killer, Never Settle

Another Chinese player that has garnered a lot of attention this year is OnePlus after Xiaomi that vowed the Indian market where most of its flash sales were sold out within seconds. OnePlus One comes with top end specifications at an affordable price point gives you a great experience of the unique CyanogenMod with a lot of customization. We had the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with the CyanogenMod CM 11S custom ROM atop it. A 5.5-inch full HD display having pixel density at 401 pixels per inch. That is quite a dense display and thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covering, the phone is protected from accidental scratches. On the camera front you have the 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. There is a 3100 mAh battery with exceptional performance that adds a new feather in the cap. You can remove the rear cover, but you can’t take out the battery. It supports quad-band 2G and 3G along with 4G LTE bands. On the connectivity front, you have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Wi-fi Direct and DLNA. It supports GPS with GLONASS along with sensors such as a proximity sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. Overall the phone is worth buying.

With this astonished specification cons of this phone can be neglected like Heavy weight, No card Slot etc

OnePlus One review: When opportunity strikes

Devices that excel at everything usually fetch a hefty price but occasionally users will have a tougher riddle to solve. The OnePlus One is a great device with an even better price tag. You probably want it but can't get it. Bummer. This flagship killer's biggest problem is there may not be flagships left to kill by the time it's done handing out the invites.

If that's Android how you like it and phablet size isn't a deal-breaker, the One also comes with flagship-grade hardware at the price of a mini, at most. read more →

OnePlus One review

The OnePlus One offers an awful lot of phone for not much money. In most respects, it's the equal to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2. And it's pretty amazing when you think about it.

However, there are a few niggles - the dodgy 4G support being the most important one. The biggest problem in reality is quite how tricky these phones are to buy. In short supply and not available on shelves in the UK, you need to put some effort in to get hold of one. read more →

OnePlus One review

All in all the OnePlus One is an amazing device for the price. There are a few little issues, but nothing that should stop 99 per cent of people from buying one. It's just a pity actually obtaining one is such a pain - but that almost makes it a more alluring device.

If you're a 4G hound and want the fastest connectivity. But as 3G is no problem, and based on relatively hit and miss 4G coverage at present, we don't think that's a deal breaker by any means.OnePlus hasn't just rocked the boat with the One, it's good enough to see some competitors fly from its wake and crash into the rocks. read more →
