Nokia Lumia 900 review: Europass

Launching a flagship months before a major overhaul of the platform isn't exactly a planning masterstroke. The Nokia Lumia 900 will not get Windows Phone 8 and the news breaking just about when the phone hit the stores is more than just an unfortunate coincidence.

Well, all that is sadly true but only from a certain perspective. There're lots of politics and agendas involved. The European (and global) launch doesn't come at the best of times but the AT&T exclusivity had to be honored. read more →

Nokia Lumia 900 review

Nokia's Lumia 900 is a steal for consumers looking for dependable performance, ease of use, LTE connectivity, an attractive design and reasonable price.

Windows Phone fans have waited with bated breath for the Lumia line's "true" stateside debut. Standing tall with a 4.3-inch display and being the first of Nokia's brood to boast LTE connectivity, the 900 is the company's call-to-arms, a mid-range contender crafted with a single-minded mission: shore up the gaps left by the lesser 800 and 710 and establish a brand presence. read more →

  • Solid camera

  • Attractive design
  • Strong reception
  • Very fast LTE speeds
  • Fun, easy to use OS.

Nokia's Lumia 900 mostly delivers on the promise of Windows Phone as a viable third mobile platform.

There's a lot on the line for Nokia and Microsoft with the Lumia 900. While one handset isn't going to sink either company, the right one could certainly do wonders for both companies' market (and mind) share, where iOS and Android have continued to thrive into a thoroughbred race with only two horses.

Now that Palm's webOS has been pronounced DOA and Research in Motion's Blackberry continues on life support, Microsoft's Windows Phone looks like the knight in shining armour, promising to rescue users from Apple or Android domination. read more →

    Nokia Lumia 900 Review

After spending some quality time with the Nokia Lumia 900 , we have to admit, we’re not entirely blown away by it. Rather, it’s essentially yet another device that we’ve experienced on numerous occasions in the past already – and it merely plays to the same level found with existing Windows Phones like the HTC Titan and Samsung Focus S. Of course, we do like the fact that it’s sporting 4G LTE connectivity, but beyond that, it doesn’t have anything particularly exciting in the hardware front – though, we have to give credit that it has a unique looking design. read more →
