There was a time when phones had cords and mail was delivered by hand. In comparison, the Nokia E72 seems like a space craft communicator. It handles just about every means of communication available today - from voice calls, through video calls, VoIP to texting, email and IM.
Speaking of hardware, the "cheap plastic syndrome" is the curse of some of the most capable smartphones. Blazing fast wireless connectivity won't make up for the cheapish looking plastic. read more →

We didn’t encounter any lagging during our tests of the Nokia E72. That´s something you could say about us after the fourth shot of whiskey down the hatch the other day, but that´s life. The handset is snappy and quite suitable for calls. In-call quality is excellent on both ends, it´s just voices get slightly metallic with the volume pumped all the way up. The battery put in quite an impressive performance during our tests as well – it managed to keep the E72 operational for almost three days with moderate use, but the Wi-Fi was active all the time, we browsed websites often and sent quite a few emails. read more →

- The Nokia E72 brings upgrades such as a faster processor, more memory, and a better camera. The phone's design is both sleek and sturdy. It offers excellent messaging capabilities, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
- The optical trackpad doesn't work very well. Speakerphone volume is a bit low. It has a lower-resolution screen compared with some of its competitors. Without carrier backing, the E72 carries an expensive price tag.
