The Eseries have certainly gone a long way, it's Nokia for business and they mean it. The Nokia E52 is a no-compromise tool and you can tell at a glimpse. The extensive use of metal doesn't go unnoticed by either eye or hand. Speaking of hand feel - the excellent build quality is perfectly matched by great ergonomics.
With great email and office support, excellent browser and speedy CPU to run things fast and smooth, only one question remains. read more →
- Compact metallic body and extra slim girth (9.90mm)
- Quad-band GSM support
- 3G with HSDPA 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps
- 2.4" 16M-color display of QVGA resolution
- Symbian OS, S60 UI with FP2
- Disappointing camera features and performance
- Video recording maxes out at VGA@15fps
- No DivX or XviD support (can be installed, possibly requiring a purchase)
- No TV-out functionality
We encountered something really interesting when we compared the speed of both devices. Both handsets sport identical hardware, including the 600MHz ARM11 CPUs, but the Nokia E52 runs noticeably slower alongside of the E55 with identical tasks. However, this doesn’t feel annoying and won´t get in the way. In-call quality is better, but the loudness is lower. As a whole, the difference is not stunning and the phone performs satisfactorily. read more →
- Thinner than most other smartphones
- The display is almost perfect and totally usable in direct sunlight
- Extremely robust battery
- Good music playback quality
- No dedicated camera macro mode
It's not the most exciting handset around at the moment, but the Nokia E52 still manages to impress with its long battery life, excellent call quality and useful feature set. On first sight, the Nokia E52 won't set your heart racing, since its design is rather conservative by today's standards. But, when you actually use the handset for a while, you can't help but grow fond of it. This isn't just because its battery life is exceptional. read more →

At first sight the Nokia E52 won't set your heart racing, but its excellent battery life and ease of use make it a smartphone worthy of consideration.
