Back in the day, smartphones were expensive and most of the people who could afford them were the corporate type. So smartphones got better at better at handling business tasks.
Whether you use it for business or for leisure texting, the key feature of the Nokia E5 the QWERTY keyboard is quite up to scratch. If a good keyboard is a must, the E5 is one of the cheaper options, and the feature-rich package is quite tempting. read more →

- Quality construction and QWERTY keyboard
- Free, global GPS navigation
- Low price for an unlocked smartphone.
The Nokia E5 is not a great looking handset, and it certainly doesn't have the wow factor that the E72 has in our eyes. And with a largely plastic chassis, bolstered by a metal backplate, it might not be all that robust.
But what goes on inside is mostly good stuff. We do wish there were a way of Nokia getting a larger screen into play, though. Even by squeezing the central button bar to get us another centimetre of height would be welcome. read more →

Never have I both loved and hated a device as much as the Nokia E5-00. Before we move on to my thoughts on the E5 itself, let’s get some facts straight here. Symbian v9.x is old and dated and there really is no other way of putting it. While it certainly gets the job done, and in some cases does pretty well, it still is an aging platform that doesn’t try very hard to hide its shortfalls. read more →
We would be happy to recommend the Nokia E5. With a slightly more lackluster finish at a more appealing price-tag than its E72 sibling, and most other similarly classed phones, it certainly does the key things it needs to do pretty well. The slightly unrefined finish of the Nokia E5 does crop up from time to time, with the screen resolution, cramped keypad and awkward volume-rocker occasionally hindering use. read more →
- Good price point
- Comprehensive business feature set
