The premium looks and excellent build quality are a nice place for the Nokia C3-01 to start. Things are looking good for the whole Touch and Type concept too theres nowhere else to go for a set with both touchscreen and a numpad. This doesnt mean the Touch and Type phones are free of competition. In fact, they will need to work hard to convince users. Especially those considering a smartphone or a full-touch handset.
Theres a very clear distinction though: the Corbies and the Cookies of the world are for the young. read more →

Nokia's star has faded in the U.S., but the company is serving up some real unlocked bargains like the Nokia C3-01, a slim and slick voice phone with an excellent camera, music player, and Web browser. read more →
- Slim and attractive
- Aluminum housing looks and feels expensive
- Great camera and music player
- Low price for an unlocked phone.
The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is a handset which ultimately disappoints. We like the build, and admire what Nokia has tried to do in reinvigorating S40 by adding touch. But we think the Finnish manufacturer's crown may have slipped in the execution of its idea.
Much as we realise some people do just want a phone for making calls and a bit of SMS, we can't help feeling that you can get a lot more phone for less money and then pick and choose the bits of it you actually want to use. read more →
- Great build

- Processor is challenged at times
- No GPS
- Fiddly to use
- Twitter and Facebook integration is poor
- Camera is lacklustre
To wrap up, we were impressed on the whole with the Nokia X3 Touch and Type and are more so by the Nokia C3 Touch and Type. It offers people who may not want smart phone features (or price) an extremely well built alternative with some good connectivity options. The inclusion of a touch screen adds some great functionality, and while the camera may lack auto-focus it should suffice for casual snaps. read more →
- Great build quality
- Intuitive touch / type experience
- Slim, attractive design
- Basic software
- No AF on camera
- No GPS
This classic Nokia candybar phone has the added bonus of a touchscreen that, while not as large as a smartphone, is big enough to display quite a lot of text. If you opt for using Opera Mini instead of the cumbersome Nokia web browser, you'll find pages quick and easy to load. A simple and reliable phone but nothing to set the world on fire. read more →

For any touch and type phone, the usp (only) is u can still use keys if touch doesn't work. One thing i didn't like was it doesn't has a menu ke. What if touch screen doesn't work ,there's no way we can got to menu using physical keys.
- Camera 5MP, Good build and small bar to carry.
