Nokia 6700 slide review: Braving the odds

The Nokia 6700 slide is for those users who are considering a smartphone for the first time. If you need a phone that does browsing, email, social networking and media within budget, this might be the thing for you. But if you just can't be bothered and simply want your phone pink, or blue, or lime, the 6700 slide is still at your service.

Another point in favor of the Nokia 6700 slide is that there aren't exactly plenty of alternatives for what it offers. read more →

Does Nokia's plastic slider smartphone justify the price tag?

The Nokia 6700 Slide is a very nicely designed, small format, slider handset. The front buttons are either large or constructed so as to be easy to hit, so that the keypad is hardly ever needed.

When you do call on it, the numberpad is responsive and easy to use at speed, calling out to frequent texters as a good choice. read more →

Nokia 6700 slide Review

Although most manufacturers are heavily attacking the touchscreen segment of the cell phone market now, Nokia - the world's largest cell phone manufacturer - is still relying mainly on its non-touch business. Devices like the Nokia 6700 slide prove that. And the 6700 slide is definitely not a phone to be overlooked. First off, its appearance is a breath of fresh air in these days of touchscreen slates. read more →

Nokia 6700 Slide review

Overall, this is a phone that might appeal to those that just want a simple phone, but we can’t see why you’d have it over the classier and more stylish Nokia 6700 Classic.

Sure, you can access Nokia Ovi Store – but that’s one of the worst applications portals out there, and this isn’t the phone to use if you’re desperate to get app-tastic, as it takes just a little too long to chug along. read more →

Nokia 6700 Slide review

Unfortunately, there’s not all that much to get excited about with the 6700 Slide. It’s a competent, well-built phone, but it’s not exactly a treat for the eyes and its Series 60 operating system really is showing its age. Furthermore, despite recent price cuts it’s still not all that cheap, especially compared to the latest budget touchscreen Android handsets. read more →

Gud Experience To Use This..

This phone really looks nice and its very handy.. Above all its unique colors add its beauty. All in all a gud set to use however it is a bit outdated if u compare it with todays smart phones..

  • Gud Looking
  • Convenient
  • Handy as small in size.
  • Supports 3G though it is not a Smart Phone
  • Use of out dated 2.5 mm Jack Headset.
  • Picture Quality is not up to the mark as u can see a yellowish back ground in the photos taken by it.
  • Prices are a bit high as compared to the features offered.
