Nokia Lumia 1320 review: Playing by the book

Nokia is obviously hoping the Lumia 1320 will hit the ground running and that hope isn't unfounded, considering the loud bang the 1520 produced and the solid record of the Lumia 520 and Lumia 620. Providing all the necessities at a reasonable price is a Nokia staple in the Windows Phone midrange. It's been a winning formula for the Finns in smartphones, so no obvious reason why it won't work in phablets as well.

Windows Phone 8 is proven to behave on less than premium hardware, but it's not the platform of choice for most game makers out there. read more →

Nokia Lumia 1320 review: an oversized phone that struggles to stand out

In other words, the Lumia 1320 is very much a niche product. It will have a limited amount of appeal, catering to those who desire a large screen and/or long battery life and are willing to pay more than a normal low-end device to get it. Beyond that, there isn't anything that tempts us: It's a bit too heavy for our liking; there are still some wrinkles in performance that need to be ironed out; and you'll want to get a microSD card to ensure you have enough storage space for everything. read more →

Nokia Lumia 1320 review

If you like a big phone, but don't want to spend too much money, this is a highly attractive handset. Screen resolution is not tip top, but more than adequate and the Nokia benefits of easy readability in bright sunshine or being usable through gloves means the phone is good to use in summer and winter.

Nokia's usual app extras that handle mapping and music are as impressive as ever, and the camera effects are neat and enjoyable. read more →

  • Fast performance
  • Great battery life
  • Snappy design
  • Camera below Nokia excellence
  • Average screen
  • Too big for some

Nokia Lumia 1320 review

The Nokia Lumia 1320 gives users huge amounts for their money. That can be taken in a literal sense too thanks to the large 6-inch screen, although the so-so resolution will be too poor for most power users and pales compared to the top-spec Lumia 1520. The camera, too, is a big step behind the top-spec offerings from Lumia's suite of devices. But then we knew that was going to be the case, as the 1320 is all about the balance of features for an affordable price and concessions therefore have to be made.

And as a value prospect the Lumia 1320 is great. read more →

Its more of a brick than of a smartphone!!!

Ive been using L1320 for almost 2yrs now. The reason to opt for Windows was because of its smooth UI and simplicity. I spent INR.20000 and was happy with the handset for a few days until I had Windows 8. As soon as I upgraded to 8.1, although it gave me a lot of features, I started facing issues such as laggigng, App crashing, phone getting heats up, battery gets drained quickly and all. I am still using this phone only because I have been a true lover of Nokia. At this proice range, I could have got a lot better smartphone. As a matter of fact, I dont call it a smartphone at all..I mean look at the specs of this phone and compare it with android smartphones. You will be ashemed with your windows phone. Again, Im not a hater of windows operating system. I only hate how Microsoft is cheating its customers.

  • Big Screen
  • Sturdy Build
  • Smooth UI
  • Simple to use
  • Business oriented phone
  • Gorilla Glass
  • Average camera on daylight outdoor image
  • Good sound quality through headphone
  • Dolby Digital Sound
  • Apart from the pros mentioned, everything else is a big NO NO.
