The Lyf Earth 2 belongs to the premium crop of Lyf handsets but is still an offering that targets offline market. Like all other Lyf handsets, the primary highlight remains the incredibly low call and data charges (unlimited calls and data free for 3 months). You also get to avail premium content and other subscriptions with every purchase. On the phone side of things, Lyf Earth 2 looks like a slim and slick phone with mediocre hardware for its price. The handset has an easily manageable 5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 touch glass and is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939. The chipset is assisted by 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. You can add up to 64GB of MicroSD storage as well, but only if you forgo dual SIM privileges (it's a Hybrid slot). The Software is Android 5.1 Lollipop with Jio set of apps and services preinstalled. Interestingly, 13MP camera sensors with LED flash are present on both front and rear sides of Lyf Earth 2. The primary rear camera uses laser AF, while the secondary selfie camera supports phase detection auto-focus (PDAF). Other features include a fingerprint sensor clubbed with home button, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a modest 2500 mAh battery. As stated above, you could go for better options if you are willing to trust online marketplaces. If you are interested in Reliance Jio services and are looking to buy a slim and svelte phone from brick and mortar stores, you can consider it as an option.
