LG GM360 Viewty Snap and GT400 Viewty Smile review: One for everybody

Its too early for any definitive conclusions just yet. The LG GM360 Viewty Snap has the better camera, offers social networking support and the convenience of a standard 3.5mm audio jack. For the younger crowd, this is the better combo of the two.

But it dwells in the slow world of EDGE. If youre thinking of some serious browsing or USB tethering, the LG GT400 Viewty Smile obviously has the upper hand.  The matte, fingerprint-resistant plastic and easily accessible microSD card are points in its favor too. read more →

Can a featurephone still cut it against the budget Android brigade?

The LG Viewty Snap GM360 might have come out quite well in a review even six months ago, because budget Android handsets were rare as hens' teeth at that time.

Now we have the likes of the Alcatel OT-980 and ZTE Racer, though, so it's difficult to see why anybody would want to spend close to £100 on a handset that lacks Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and an app store when they could get so much more for their money. read more →

    LG Viewty Snap Review

Call quality of the LG Viewty Snap was decent in the ear speaker, although voices sounded a bit thin, while the other party was hearing us very well, with natural voice representation. The 900mAh battery is good for 5.5 hours of talk in 2G mode (not that there is any other mode), and 16 days of standby, as per the company. If we put all the features of the phone together and compare with the price, we would certainly receive a good value for the money in the end, at least on paper. read more →
