HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM which went official in India on 5th February, 2016, originally surfaced one year ago with Snapdragon 410 chipset on HTC's home turf, ie Taiwan. Worry not, because this isn't same dated variant. Well almost. The handset uses last gen Desire series design, same casing, same camera hardware and battery, but processing prowess has been brought up to speed for 2016.
The refreshed HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM is powered by 1.7 GHz MT6752 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. You can also add 128GB of secondary SD card storage to store large media files. Speaking of which, the signature dual Boomsound speakers are also present to pump rich audio to further enhance your multimedia experience. Software is Android based HTC Sense 6 UI.
Full HD displays are getting quite common in this price band, but since the MT6752 chip is known to work best with 720p HD and because HD is good enough on a 5 Inch panel, we won't discard HTC's component choice just yet. For photography, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens and a 5MP front camera with BSI sensor and full HD video recording supported. Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and a rather modest 2000mAh battery.
The HTC Desire 626 Dual lists interesting set of hardware, but the 2000 mAh battery might not suffice for most users.
