Honestly, one of the best things about the Dell Venue is the fact that it’s one of those handsets you don’t quite expect to see in the wild – thus, it’s able to stand out more amongst the usual pack of smartphones out there. Looking into it more, Dell has done a magnificent job with its design, and much like its Windows Phone 7 sibling, every inch of it seeps with elegance – though, it doesn’t quite hit the high marks in all categories with its performance. read more →
- Gorgeous looking handset
- Mesmerizing AMOLED display
- Reasonably priced at $99.99
- Stutters with Flash content
- Shoots ugly looking 720p videos
- LED flash is nearly worthless
The Dell Venue is a good option for those looking for an unlocked Android phone, but it falls a bit short of the competition. read more →
- The Dell Venue has an attractive, solid design with a large 4.1-inch touch screen. The Android 2.2 smartphone also features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor for smooth performance and comes with a number of extra apps.
- The Venue's camera quality was subpar, Dell's Stage user interface could use some refinement and won't appeal to everyone, and it doesn't support T-Mobile's HSPA+ network.
We have to look at the Dell Venue comparatively. If you’re considering this device, you’re probably also considering other unlocked phones, probably ones that will work with T-Mobile if you’re in the US. One of our favorite phones, the Nexus S, happens to fit both of those criteria, plus it’s superior in many ways: it’s faster, it has the latest version of Android, the screen quality is better, and it’s much lighter. read more →

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE ,I PURCHASE THIS PHONE BEFORE ONE YEAR JUST TWO DAYS USE,CAMERA FLASH AND ONE SPEAKER NOT WORKING CONTINUALLY SIM CARD NOT SUPPORT DISPLAY ,MY 16GB MEMORY CARD DAMAGE WITHOUT REMOVE PHONE, NO SERVICE NO REPAIR
I bought this handset, the first for me in the Android series. As i had no prior experience apart from Nokia, I wasnt looking for a high end phone but wanted a more decently priced one which could use for a year or two. Dell venue was amost befitting that category. Although it is Dell but still it has its pros and Cons:
- 1. Beautiful Handset
- 2. Amazing Screen Clarity and Colours
- 3. Very Good touch response
- 4. Battery Back up is decent too
- 5. Ease of Functions (e.g Mute Button)
- 6. Speakerphones quite good (I use them for my conference calls)
- 1. Battery drains out very fast if using full brightness display
- 2. Lags a lot
- 3. Internal Memory is quite low compared to the different softwares available on Google play
- 4. Cant run multiple applications at the same time even with its 1GHZ processor. Will crash and restart.
- 5. Microphone quality really bad. Callers complain a lot of background noise and hisses on the call.
- 6. Quite Heavy. Hand will get tired if held for a long time
