At the end of this review we can confirm our initial observation. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes to crown the company efforts in the recent years, coming as close as possible to the ultimate business tool.
The handset offers a remarkable display, a great keyboard and an unsurpassed among the family connectivity. We highly doubt that there will be something more that a BlackBerry fan could want, except for maybe the more compact body of the Curve. read more →

- Luxurious feel
- Incredibly sharp screen
- Integrated Office document editor.
Battery-wise the Bold was a bit of a disappointment, and we routinely had to recharge on the second day of average use. But despite this, and though the GPS and camera could have been a little better, the Bold is still ace when it comes to messaging, and offers a very decent browsing experience too. read more →

- No face to face video calling facility
With its large screen, fast internet connection – using both Wi-Fi and HSDPA - camera, sophisticated media player, GPS and more, the Blackberry Bold would seem to fit the profile of an iPhone challenger, but such talk is largely irrelevant – the two are aimed at different markets, and while the iPhone might be an excellent entertainment station, the Bold is the one that means business. read more →

In a nutshell, we do like the Bold. If you are looking for a BlackBerry phone, this one is probably the best you can get, with great business and good multimedia features. However, unless you typically wear suits and not pajamas, you should take a look at the more affordable Curve series or the Storm with its huge touch screen. If you like the latter, keep in mind it may turn out not to be your cup of tea if you´re into heavy typing. read more →
- Excellent keyboard (for its size and form factor)
- Looks great
- Has good multimedia features
- The screen is rather small for a phone hitting the market in 2009
- The camera could have been better
- The software hasn’t changed all that much and is still not user friendly
