Apple iPhone 4 review: Love it or hate it

We would be lying if we told you we dont like iPhone 4. Quite the opposite, the iPhone 4 has a way to impress.

But come a new iPhone launch, and youll still see people putting up tents at Apple Stores to be the first to get one. Even if they hear about easily breakable glass panels and some bizarre reception issues, theyll still want to get one and learn to hold it right (or buy some Bumper cases). read more →

iPhone 4S over iPhone 4: Should I stay or should I go?

People who are upgrading from an iPhone 3GS or earlier or don't have an iPhone at all but want one should skip over the iPhone 4 and go straight for the 4S. The $100 you'll save are not worth it in the long run.
But what if you have an iPhone 4 in your pocket right now? Well, if that was your primary camera so far then getting the iPhone 4S is a worthy upgrade. As long as you're fine with using twice as much memory for the same number of photos and videos you shot before since you can't switch to a lower resolution. read more →

  • Same design
  • Same screen too, both in terms of size and resolution
  • The amount of RAM is the same
  • Siri doesn't work too well for people outside the US
  • You'll manage to snap more photos and longer videos and avoid 1080p playback problems

    Apple iPhone 4

We're not going to beat around the bush -- in our approximation, the iPhone 4 is the best smartphone on the market right now. The combination of gorgeous new hardware, that amazing display, upgraded cameras, and major improvements to the operating system make this an extremely formidable package. Yes, there are still pain points that we want to see Apple fix, and yes, there are some amazing alternatives to the iPhone 4 out there. read more →

    • Amazing new industrial design
    • Retina Display is stunning
    • iOS 4 makes major improvements
    • Annoying pop-up notifications
    • Reception is improved, but still has issues
    • Desperately needs widgets
