Sound vs Comfort - Tradeoffs!
Short Version : Don't buy them! Use your money to either buy cheap Panasonics and SoundMagics, or invest a little more to get decent Sennheisers. Long Version: I got these after listening to my friend's SoundMagic ES18s. They were absolutely fabulous for the price, and since these had a better frequency band, I didn't hesitate to buy them. Now, the features: 1. Sound Quality - Fulfilling I would say. Bass is OK, Mids are good and Highs are proper. In comparison to my stock GT-i9070 earphones, these sounded much better. The sound is more complete, especially for Rock, Pop and Techno. (4/5) 2. Sound Levels - Very important. The decibel levels are VERY LOW in these earphones. Consequently, the volume is very low. I have to crank up the volume on my mobile to full to just be able to hear it properly. The buds don't provide proper sound isolation, and thus, in loud areas, these earphones fail, hard. (2/5) 2. Comfort - This is the Achilles Heel of these earphones. The stock buds that they have provided are not very comfortable. I have had earaches after using these for prolonged periods (~4-5 hours). Also, they do not stay in their place properly. Its frustating to use these for jogging/running. Though, I have found a hack for that purpose. (Simply loop them from behind your ear and then insert them, but remember, LEFT should go into LEFT EAR, and the other one in your RIGHT ear. Failing that, they actually are less stable.) (2/5) 3. Build Quality - The earphones themselves seem well built and look nice. But the wire gets entangled pretty quickly. Also, they have provided a clip for these which is permanently attached to the wire, so that you may hook it to your pocket edge. But the wires themselves could have been a bit more accommodating. (3/5) 4. Price - Definitely doesn't deserve to priced this high. This is practically mugging. (1/5) Overall, I'd rate these 2/5.

I have been watching lot of positive feedbacks about soundmagic products hence I wanted give a try. After little research I purchased this product. It produces some dark base kind of sound and something fun to listen. But if you like neutral sound then go for ES18 or E10. It is almost 20 months, still it is producing good sounds and there is no regret about build quality.
