Great combination at such price - cheap deal in June 2014 - now its expensive
I ordered this for my sister Flipkart delivery was good - Coz they took almost full estimated time (-2 days) to deliver from B'lore to Lko. Generally flipkart delivers in two.. max three days. Thats awesome Now coming to product - I am not using the product. My sister has complained of Wifi / audio which is intermittent and gets resolved on reboot. Otherwise its a great deal - i3 touch .. 4 gb ram windows 8 .. and moreover 65W AC adapter .. this laptop lasts long This laptop at 34-35k was the cheapest + branded laptop I couls find in my extensive research. Great buy in India where i3 is still expensive, and I always wanted Dell .. They still make best of all laptop makers Coming to warranty issues.. You may face warranty issues like my sister did. I wud request buyers to talk to Flipkart Customer Care.. They make amends if the warranty expires earlier than purchanse date + stipulated time. Thats what my sister did and they provided full warranty from the purchase date.

I bought this product from flipkart on 3rd June'13. When the product arrived, "My Dell" app was showing up warranty status to be expiring on 21st Mar'15. I called up customer care and they took 21 days just to revert back with the status that they tried contacting Dell and but have not received any reply from them. They offered me a full refund or a meagre compensation of 1500/- for this. My warranty is less for 3 months and they are ready to shelve just 1500/-. I am not interested in a compensation. I would have been happy if they had been interested in buying me the warranty for the 2nd year which they readily rejected. They were interested in processing the refund since they would get the opportunity to sell it back to a new customer, I suppose. I contacted Dell and they confirmed that no one had contacted Dell for warranty issues regarding this product. Dell also told me that every product comes with a 15 month warranty out of which 3 months are meant for the dealer in which he is expected to sell the product. I got 9 months warranty because they sold me a 5 month old product. This happened to you and it can definitely happen to you. Be cautious.
