Why should you buy this camera?
About the camera: Some of you, who have not done their research yet, may say why should I buy a Panasonic instead of a Nikon or Canon? In that case you are ill-informed. This camera uses a Leica lens, the only one in world to have a constant aperture of 2.8 throughout the zoom range. As for Leica, I would like to mention that It is the company which pioneered the image stabilization technology. And of course someone as legendary as Henri Cartier Bresson used a Leica camera. Its a versatile camera which can be used for bird photography, sports and travel and captures stunning videos. Image stabilization is excellent and you can make use of full zoom range without a tripod unlike Canon SX50 HS. About the seller: I bought it from Siddnem and he delivered it in three days excluding the Sunday. Though the product details don't mention it but this camera comes with a Panasonic 4 GB Class 10 card and a Panasonic case which is of average quality.
Read More on Flipkart →This is the best camera for serious hobbyists. I have awesome results in capturing brilliant Landscapes, macro shots of flowers, distant birds, kids in action, full HD video... It can practically capture whatever your eyes can see. I am an avid traveler, and this camera makes sure I never miss any shot. This is not a replacement for DSLRs, if you are obsessed with image quality, and serious photography better invest in DSLRs and costlier lenses.

Thorough overall performer - be aware of UHS-1 issues though
I bought this camera for birding which is one of the trickiest kinds of photography around. Its a brilliant device for all sorts of photography though. Here are some of the best parts - 1) The f2.8 lens is sharp at f2.8 - a rare accomplishment. 2) The camera is brutally fast - AF is quick and sure - I can track birds coming towards me! No visible shutter lag. 3) Very nice EVF - Large, bright, high-resolution Here is the only negative I have for the camera (I have used it for more than six months) - 1) UHS-1 support is only on paper. In practice, it takes 11 seconds to clear the RAW buffer - no matter how fast your card is. This is really sad because speed is where this guy kills and this is a little bit of a letdown. Other Info- -Graham Houghton has a set of very informative videos on how to use the camera on YouTube. This is a complex camera with many many features, and a bad user manual. Graham has got you covered there.
