Xiaomi is no longer just a smartphone brand. It has become a lifestyle and home appliances brand that makes products to make the consumers’ lives better. To take its smart home mission ahead, the brand has announced a Smarter Living Event 2024 to be held on April 23rd. While the products haven’t been revealed, the promotional posters hint at 4-5 launches that can happen during the event.
Xiaomi Smarter Living Event 2024: Announcement

Xiaomi took to microblogging platform X to announce its Smarter Living Event 2024. The company claimed some big reveals on April 23rd with the caption, “Stay tuned for some big reveals that will change the way you live, work, and play. The countdown begins for a leap into a smarter, more connected world!.”
While Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the name of any product, the microsite shows four products that have been blurred out. These will mostly be smart home and IoT products. Xiaomi has also asked the fans to guess all the products from the hints and get a chance to win Rs. 3000 Mi vouchers.

What to expect from the event?
The Xiaomi Smarter Living Event 2024 might see the launch of the following products-
- Redmi Pad SE
- Redmi Buds 5A
- Xiaomi Robot Vaccum Cleaner S10
- Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer

Xiaomi has confirmed that the tablet will be the Redmi Pad SE which made its debut globally in August 2023. It will be an affordable Android tablet and the successor to the Redmi Pad that came to India in October 2022. Redmi Pad SE will sport an 11-inch display with Dolby Atmos and Quad speakers. The display with have a 90Hz refresh rate and eye protection due to TUV Rheinland certification. The tablet will be powered Snapdragon 680 chipset and pack a large battery as well.
Redmi has also confirmed Buds 5A with ANC, Bluetooth 5.4, and 12mm dynamic drivers with Google Fast Pair.
The third product that has been confirmed is the Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10. It will come with 4000Pa suction, LDS Laser Navigation, Precision mapping, Zig-Zag and Y-shaped cleaning patterns, and Multiple map memory.
The fourth product that Xiaomi has confirmed is a Handheld Garment Steamer. The steamer will be equipped with 1300W steam power surge, 24g/minute steam rate, safe for all fabrics, and horizontal and vertical usage.
Last year as well Xiaomi hosted a Smart Living Event wherein the brand launched the Robot Vacuum Mop 2i, Grooming Kit, Beard Trimmer 2C, Smart Air Purifier 4 and 4 Lite, and the Xiaomi TV X Pro Series.
