We got to see Vivo’s first ever foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold this year followed by the launch of the Vivo X Fold+ 5G. However, none of the Vivo foldable made it to the Indian shores which was a disappointment for the Indian fans. In a recent development, it is being said that Vivo is working on another foldable device named Vivo X Fold 2 which will be the successor of its first foldable. A major highlight regarding the same is that Vivo is planning to launch the smartphone in India too.

Until now, the details regarding the India launch or specs of Vivo X Fold 2 have not been confirmed. Nonetheless, some leaks have suggested what we can get to see in terms of specifications. Here we will have a look at all the information related to the Vivo X Fold that is available online.

Vivo X Fold 2 expected specifications and other details

First things first, it is being said that the Vivo X Fold 2 will first enter the Chinese market followed by its debut in India. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station tipped that the brand is planning to release the smartphone in the first half of 2023 along with the Vivo X Flip. While the Vivo X Fold 2 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Vivo X Flip will lock horns with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Vivo X Fold 2 will most probably run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The smartphone will have a 2K resolution display and the cover display will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. another major detail tipped by Digital Chat Station is that the Handset will be light in weight as compared to its predecessor, so we can expect a thin smartphone without a bulky body. In terms of optics, we may get to see the Sony IMX866 primary shooter along with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). All the other information regarding the smartphone has not been revealed yet. It is being speculated that we will get to know more about the device as soon as the launch date inches closer.
