Sony Bravia Theatre Quad Features
The home theatre system has some excellent features. First, it features four wireless speakers that can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall. The speaker units ship with a control box that connects via users’ TV using HDMI or optical cables. Further, Bravia Theatre Quad also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to stream music directly from their smartphones or tablets.
Then comes the 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, which creates a three-dimensional audio environment, enveloping users from all directions. With this technology, the Bravia Threatre Quad creates phantom speakers between the actual ones, creating a virtual dome of sound that fires audio at the users from all directions with the help of Sound Field Optimization.
With support for DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos, the audio system provides exceptional sound quality. Other features include Bravia Acoustic Center Sunc which integrates audio from the device with compatible Bravia TVs. Then there’s Voice Zoom3 technology that improves the clarity of dialogues, making every word crisp and clear. Users can manage the device seamlessly via the new Bravia Connect app.
Sony offers optional wireless subwoofers that enhance the audio experience with deep, powerful bass. The subwoofers are seamlessly integrated into the system. These include the SA-SW5 wireless subwoofer with 300W deep bass from a 180mm driver and the SA-SW3 wireless subwoofer with 200W of sound from a 160mm driver.
The Bravia Theatre Quad is also compatible with popular voice assistants and streaming platforms, such as Alexa, AirPplay2, and Spotify. It’s premium design blends with the interiors of users’ living room, making it easier to place it on walls, tables, or dedicated stands.
