HMD Global is gearing up to launch Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 5310 in India after listing them on Nokia’s official website. The Finland firm is re-launching the classic Nokia 5310, one of their most successful mobile phones of its time, with a new design.

Nokia 5.3 Specifications

The Nokia 5.3 has a 6.55-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The front camera setup is installed within the water-drop notch of the display. Nokia 5.3 is designed with a 2.5D glass front and a scratch-resistant composite back.

The rear camera of the Nokia 5.3 comprises an array of 4 sensors backed by advanced AI imaging software. The main camera is 13MP with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The cameras are fashioned in a circular design with a LED flash at the center. The front-facing camera that can be used to click selfies or for video calls, sports 8MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens.

For performance, Nokia 5.3 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset supported by varying RAM options – 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB. The secondary space for storage is 64GB with a scope of expansion up to 512GB. As far as the operating system is concerned, Nokia 5.3 runs on Android 10 and is affiliated to the Android One program. The company has assured that the device will be updated to Android 11 and onwards. The 4000mAh battery will allegedly deliver 2-days of backup. The charging port is USB Type-C.

The phone has a dedicated Google Assistant button. A 3.5mm headphone jack has been retained as well.  There will be three color variants available to consumers – Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal.

The listing of Nokia 5310 better known as ‘Xpress Music’ is surely an announcement of the return of a classic. The feature phone has a revamped design. The Nokia 5310 features dual-sim, VGA camera with flash, SD card slot up to 32GB, dual speakers at the front and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It sports a wireless FM with dedicated music buttons. In India, the new Nokia 5310 will cost Rs. 3,199.
