ROG Strix Scar 17 Features
The newly announced Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 has a black lid which makes the laptop look sleeker and discrete. The keyboard deck looks compact as well. The Scar laptop comes with artistic Aura Sync for better creativity. The laptop has a new metallic ROG logo and keyboard with per-key RGB personalization that shines bright. LEDs cast a glow around the chassis’s base and across the strategic slice beneath the screen.
The Asus Strix Scar 17 is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 7945 HX mobile processor paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 laptop GPU, MUX Switch, and lightning-fast DDR5 RAM. It has a 150W +25W max TGP GPU and drives a QHD 240Hz panel with Adaptive Sync.
ROG Strix Scar 16 & 18 Features
The updated ROG Strix Scar 16 & Strix Scar 18 laptops come with a new and improved design. This one too has a black lid for a sleek appearance and the same design is applicable to the keyboard.
The newly designed customizable armor caps brighten up the chassis. They are smaller but magnetically held in place and one can also personalize the look as that armor cap can be 3D printed. The metallic ROG logo at the top lid and the keyboard have an RGB shine and the keyboard also allows for per-key personalization. The laptops are powered by Intel CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 GPU with MUX Switch and all-new fast DDR5 RAM.
A 150W+25W max TGP GPU designed for high frame rates in modern titles drives up to a QHD 240Hz display with Adaptive Sync. Strix Scar 18 has a new 18-inch display for immersive gameplay as well as additional screen space for content creation/viewing.
Zephyrus M16 Specs
Zephyrus M16 laptop comes with a 16-inch display that aims to give an immersive screen experience, due to the 92% screen-to-body ratio and super narrow bezels. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and high-fidelity gaming with a QHD resolution and a 240Hz/3ms panel supporting a G-Sync/ Adaptive Sync. The display has a DCI P3 color gamut, Pantone validation, Dolby Vision, and 1100 nits peak brightness.
The laptop is powered by 13th gen intel core i9 13900H CPU with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. It has an upgraded MUX Switch with advanced Optimus for better battery life. The 2023 Zephyrus Duo 16 laptop is a 16-inch gaming laptop that comes with a 15-inch chassis. It is a portable workstation for gamers and creators because of the unique dual-screen form factor.
The laptop has a dark tech theme featuring an all-black chassis adorned with dark metallic purple elements and a sleek yet futuristic design ID. The laptop is powered by the recent AMD Ryzen 7000 series Dragon Range processor based on AMD’s new ZEN 4 architecture and TSMC’s 5nm processor fabrication technology.
The ROG laptop comes with an Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem that keeps Duo 16 cool and silent. It packs a 90Wh battery with a 330W charging adapter for a Type-C port. The battery charges 50% in 30 minutes.
