September will be a busy month, especially for smartphone enthusiasts, as companies like Apple, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Motorola gear up to reveal new devices. While the most popular phone out of this lot will be the iPhone 15 series, people are also eyeing OnePlus’ first foldable, dubbed OnePlus Open, along with a couple of other models. Let’s look at all the upcoming smartphones.
1. Apple iPhone 15 Series
First up on the list is Apple’s iPhone 15 series, scheduled to make an appearance on September 12, 2023. Per reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant will unveil four models this year, including the vanilla iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus, and the two Pro models: the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Unlike last year, the regular iPhone variants will get several worthwhile upgrades, such as a more powerful A-series chipset, the Dynamic Island, a 48MP primary camera, and new colors.
On the other side, the Pro iPhones will come with a new periscope zoom lens, titanium frame, an action button, narrower bezels, and other improvements. However, along with these upgrades, the Pro iPhones could cost more than what they did last year. Note that the company hasn’t confirmed these details. Instead, they have been reported by several publications and reliable sources in the recent past.
2. OnePlus Open
OnePlus’ first foldable, the OnePlus Open, is rumored to arrive in September. However, we don’t have a date for the launch yet. Nonetheless, the OnePlus Open should look like the Oppo Find N3 or the Pixel Fold. Reports suggest that the foldable could feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz AMOLED cover screen and a 7.-8-inch 2K 120Hz internal screen. Under the hood, the phone will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
3. Xiaomi 13T
Another smartphone series said to come out in September is the Xiaomi 13T. It will comprise the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro. While the vanilla model will have a slightly less powerful chipset, the Pro model will ship with a more capable chipset alongside Leica cameras. Both phones could be identical in design.
4. Realme C51 And Realme Narzo 60x
Realme C51 arrives in India on September 4, 2023. The smartphone’s rear panel resembles the iPhone 14 Pro’s triple camera alignment. In addition, the handset will feature a 50MP rear camera and support 33W fast charging. With the Realme C51, the company will add another product to the Narzo lineup, i.e., Realme Narzo 60x. It should come with a 6.74-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 6100 Plus SoC, a massive 5,000 mAh battery, and a 64MP rear camera.
6. Motorola Moto G54 5G, Edge 40 Neo, Edge 2023
Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola will reveal an affordable Android phone on September 5 – the Motorola Moto G54 5G. The device will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a 50MP OIS camera, Dimensity 7020 chipset, and a 6,000 mAh battery.
Further, the company could also launch the Motorola Edge 40 and the Motorola Edge 2023 in September. These will be mid-range devices with large screens, massive batteries, and fast charging.
7. Samsung W24 And Samsung W24 Flip
The South Korean tech giant Samsung will reveal the Samsung W24 and the Samsung W24 Flip, the rebranded versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, in China. While the models will retain the features and specifications of the latest generation foldables from Samsung, they’ll feature new design elements.
8. Honor 90 Series
Honor is all set to have a comeback to the Indian market with the Honor 90 smartphone. The microsite for Honor 90 has gone live. It confirms that the launch will take place in September. Reports claim that Honor 90 will cost around Rs. 35,000 in India. Honor 90 is expected to come with some cool features like a 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 200MP rear camera sensor. It is said to be powered by a 5000mAh battery and runs Android 13 OS.
9. Vivo V29 Series
Chinese Tech giant Vivo recently launched Vivo V29e in India. Reports claim that Vivo might launch more devices in the V29 Series this month. Vivo V29 5G Series might include Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro smartphones. Vivo V29 5G is said to have a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel and run FunTouch OS 13. It might be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset and pack a 4600mAh battery with 80W charging. Vivo V29 5G is said to be priced between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000.
10. Tecno Phantom V Flip
Tecno Phantom V Flip is expected to launch this month. Leaked renders claim that the flip phone will have a circular camera setup with 2 lenses and an LED flash. The smartphone is said to be priced around Rs. 50,000 and be powered by Dimensity 1300 chipset. There might be a 64MP main camera, 4000mAh battery, 66W charging, Android 13, and more.
